DSF2 - Delivery Sequence File, Second Generation

Use DSF2 to check address accuracy, identify address types, and obtain walk sequence numbers. With over 165 million records, the DSF2 database contains every deliverable address in the United States, and you can use it to verify your addresses are correct and complete.

DSF2 processing also identifies business versus residential addresses, which you can use to obtain the best parcel shipping rates.

In addition, DSF2 provides walk sequence codes, which allows ordering of mail pieces in the exact order the mail carrier travels. These codes can be used to qualify for the U.S. Postal Service's Enhanced Carrier Route (ECR) Basic, High Density, or Saturation postal discounts.
